Bingo is a 12yo cross-breed whose owner said was rejected by another animal welfare organisation and was directed to surrender her to SPCA. Bingo was adopted from the same organisation. Apart from a moderate skin condition and the usual arthritis that comes with old age, Bingo is very friendly. If anyone is interested in taking her in, please come to the SPCA asap! Inquire at reception, not at the adoption shelter.
Please note, phone "reservations" will not be entertained. Thank you!

Adoption Spotlight 23rd Oct 2012, by SPCA Singapore
What do I see? Lots of animals looking for love. In my 7 years on the street, I managed to keep my nose clean and my (rather big) belly full. Then one day I got into an accident and my tail got a bit banged up. So someone called the SPCA, they came, took me in, patched me up and though I'm kinda old for a cat, they thought I was so lovely, they decided to keep me and find me a permanent home. So here I am waiting for my special human to come along. Even if you aren't the one, please help me by t...

Today we received news that the Animals Asia Foundation (AAF) bear rescue centre in Vietnam is being evicted. We first featured the dedicated work of Jill Robinson (MBE) and her team in our SPCA Bulletin Jan-Feb 2002. Their first rescue centre was set up in Chengdu, China. The latest eviction notice from the authorities in Vietnam will have serious consequences for the 104 rescued bears, all victims of the torturous bear bile trade. Please show your support by helping support AAF's appeal to the...

Do you have a paddling pool that you do not need anymore?
The past couple of days have been pretty hot and our dogs at the SPCA have been feeling it too.
To help them cool off as well as have a little fun at the same time, we would be grateful if you have a paddling pool that you would like to donate, to email shelter@spca.org.sg
Please note that that the inflatable kind will not be suitable. It has to be made up of plastic. Thank you so much : )

Adoption Spotlight 2nd Oct 2012, by SPCA Singapore
Unlike his Flintstone's namesake, 9mo cross-breed Bam Bam is quiet and well-mannered. He absolutely loves being petted and will return the affection with nuzzles and soulful looks. He is honestly such a sweet dog. Even though he's slim and not huge, sadly, he will not be allowed in a HDB residence. Please come down and give this lovely doggy a forever home today!
Check out all our other pooches here http://www.spca.org.sg/gallerydog1.html.

Stop The Cull 28th Sep 2012, by SPCA Singapore
Help stop badger culling in the UK! We don't normally post on campaigns we're not directly involved in. But we thought we would just help give this a little more prominence as it's really urgent. The government in the UK are planning a cull of badgers very soon. The RSPCA there need to gather as many signatures as possible to stop this. Please go to http://www.rspca.org.uk/getinvolved/campaigns/wild life/stop-the-cull to find out more and sign the petition.

Adoption Spotlight 25th Sep 2012, by SPCA Singapore
There're so many things that we do not understand. One of them is why on earth anyone would abandon FIVE perfect Persian cats. All of them are around 2-3 years old, four are girls, one is a boy. They certainly add a large furry dose of glamour to the SPCA. We know they'll be snapped up like ice-cream on a hot day but we just couldn't resist posting about them! If you just want to visit them, better do so asap!
