On Saturday, 27th April 2013, a group of 27 teachers and students from Sri KDU Secondary School, Kota Damansara, organized and executed a Turtle Camp for the school students at S.K. Updates On The 2013 Terrapin Nesting Season In Kemaman

The terrapin nesting season in the Kemaman River this year began on the 7th February and ended on the 11th March 2013. Despite stretching for more than 30 days, nesting activities were significantly reduced (compared to last year) due to the tail-end of the monsoon experienced in the East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia. About 2 weeks ago, the 2013 Turtle Calendars that we were promoting on our website, Facebook and Twitter were finally ready for distribution. And within a few days, we had sold out the first 1,500 copies that we had ordered! 2013 Turtle Calendar: A Sneak Preview

We are pleased to announce that Turtle Conservation Society of Malaysia (TCS) is producing a 2013 Turtle Calendar that features the beautiful turtle mosaics mounted on the walls and floor in Turtle Alley, Chinatown, Kuala Terengganu. On Saturday, 13th October 2012, a total of 413 five-month-old river terrapins were released into the Kemaman River.
