Firstly, thank you Yen Hsian for picking puppy up and sending it to Gasing. Puppy is still admitted there. Named Goma. This is what we got from the vet yesterday:
For Goma, he is eating well, no fever. no epistaxis also. Blood test generally normal except low kidney levels because still young, high phosphate level because the bone is still growing, potassium high because of dehydration, globulin bit low because he is still young, and liver enzymes a bit high because of dehydration. Narisa looked dull and so was brought to Gasing. This is what the vet said:
Narisa, whom you brought in to do a snap4dx test to check for heartworm - it turns out ecanis positive. Due to this reason we ran a CBC. It's normal. Which means, it is ecanis positive is likely because of body antibody by post infection. She doesnt need any meds for now unless she has clinical symptoms such as weakness, anemia and low platelet count.

Milo needs a foster or adopter starting 1 February ❤️
Milo was rescued after being abandoned in December. He has been with a foster since 1 January and the contract will end on 1 February, thus we are once again looking for a home for Milo.
Milo needs someone who is understanding that he has been abandoned and abused. He needs a couple of days to build trust (will growl if he's not ready to be petted), but once he has it, Milo is loving, friendly, and playful...

We have just about 20 minutes before we close the donation drive for this dog which was saved from the MPK pound by a person from a vegetable vendor's stall. Admitted at the vet for 2, vaccinations, neutering and quarantine. Funds are still insufficient but fund raising will still end at midnight. SOS SOS SOS SOS. THIS dog which was wandering near a market in Taman Gembira, Klang for a few years was caught by the dog catcher. A worker in tge market managed to pay the compound. He now needs urgent help to to get the dog neutered and vaccinated before rehoming. The dog has been admitted at Thomas Animal Clinic (Matthews Veterinary Services Sdn Bhd).
