"MERLINWIZ" - DUMPED & FORGOTTEN.... WE NEED TO FIND HIM SPONSORS

This old boy was discovered by a foreigner at Patong Beach. Merlinwiz is an old dog (approx 9 years of age) & he was found wandering around the beach in a very confused and disoriented state. We're not sure how Merlinwiz ended up at the beach, but he appeared to have been DUMPED by someone.
Merlinwiz could barely see as he had lots of discharge from his eyes (due to his age) & the poor boy was totally bewildered. He's now safe in our "Old Age" dog run. He sleeps most of the day, but enjoys bei...

When We Bring An Animal To The Clinic, Please Do So Wisely

I am compelled to write this over a recent case, if only for the information and attention of new rescuers when they bring their animals to the clinic for treatment.
Please be informed and be aware that clinics and hospitals (humans’ and animals’) are some of the least hygienic places to be at. If I go to a human clinic and there are people coughing or sneezing, and if I am weak, it’s very likely I would contract the disease too. Can I then blame the clinic for causing me to be...

A bit of disturbing news, though, Cow has begun spraying in Bunny’s Room and I’m trying very hard to stop it. Sigh, wish me luck! Bunny hasn’t started spraying yet, but if I cannot get it under control, Bunny will. Was so happy in the first 3 weeks when there was no spraying nonsense at all.

Shiver was found at the side of a road at the brink of death. He had horrific skin infections, malnutrition & pneumonia.
We did not think Shiver would survive. After several months of intensive care & treatment Shiver's condition gradually improved. His story was shared worldwide & he helped create awareness of Soi Dog internationally.
We'd love to find Shiver a home, but at present he's still much too shy & nervous to be adopted. As a result, Shiver may have to spend some more time here at ...

MEET "LUCKY" - CAN WE FIND THIS PRETTY GIRL A FAMILY! Lucky was found with a broken pelvis & femur, probably due to a road accident. She arrived at Soi Dog at just a a few months old, very frightened & bewildered.

New Shelter Building Fund

After what seemed to be a really demotivating morning, finally some light shone on us at around 4.00pm.
The organisers began deducting votes from the dream that had overtaken us by storm this morning.
It had been a real storm watching the contender chalk up thousands of votes within the last two days while our CNY-holidaying crowd only managed to put in something like 50-100 votes per day.
