Tina Arrives In Germany!

TINA ARRIVES IN GERMANY!... Long term resident "Tina" arrived last week at her new home in Dusseldorf, Germany. Tina's is a beautiful young dog who'd lived at the shelter for over a year. She was rescued with with her mother "Talay" as a very young puppy.

SPONSOR THE FAMOUS SHIVER!!.... It's about time our famous boy had some sponsors of his own. Shiver was found at the side of a road at the brink of death. He had horrific skin infections, malnutrition & pneumonia.
We did not think Shiver would survive. After several months of intensive care & treatment Shiver's condition gradually improved. His story was shared worldwide & he helped create awareness of Soi Dog internationally.

I wrote to Judy Chua last week, asking if Phaik Imm could do with some funds for her 60 dogs and cats in her small shelter in Tambun, Ipoh. If you’ve been a reader of this blog, you’d know that Phaik Imm is 64 now and is still running her shelter with help from a few committed volunteers.

MEL'S READY FOR A NEW HOME!... Little 5 month old Mel has grown up in our Cat Hospital. He's never known any other life. He spent his first 2 months confined as he was suffering from cat flu, but has recently moved to our Cat Suite, where he's now able to play with his friends Sammy & Rollar.

Bobby Meets Sunshine At The Vet’s

Bobby had a lot of eye discharge this morning and the liquid looked pink, so I took him to the vet’s.
Coincidentally we had also made an appointment for Sunshine, so we met up.
Waiting for our turn.
The vet said Bobby is actually in pretty good shape for his age. I was concerned about his weight loss. His weight used to be around 5.2kg, but he is now only 4.5kg. But the vet said this is quite expected as one ages. Also, with the house-move and all, his meals has not been regular becaus...

JUNE... OUR HAPPY TRIPOD - LOOKING FOR A HOME! June arrived as a small puppy after being rescued from a road accident. She spent 3 months in our clinic where her injured leg had to be amputated.
Today she's a playful, funny 3 legged dog who makes us all laugh. She loves to race around with the other dogs, but is also very affectionate & loves to be cuddled. Her favourite trick is digging in the water trough to keep herself cool! June is approx 8 months old.

Pregnant Stray Cat In Need Of A Home (Dr Veeranoot Nissapatorn’s)

Sometime early last year, Dr Veeranoot chanced upon a pregnant cat in SS17. She rescued the cat, gave her a safe and loving home to deliver her babies (all 6 of them!) and the mother-cat (Kwanjit) is now still with the good doctor.

Last week, Terry was scheduled to be neutered, but upon the advice of the vet, a full blood profile should be done since Terry is considered an elderly dog (estimated to be at least 7 years old).
