On our part, we can only sponsor the medical needs of Sunshine. This time it is only RM20.30 for the Solcoseryl, but all the hard work and loving care comes from Lydia.

Night of Stars - August 18 - rules & registration form for the dog competition can now be downloaded from http://www.spca-penang.net/dog_competition.doc - strictly limited to 20 competitiors. If you're not lucky enough to be one of the 20, or you don't want your dog to compete, you are welcome to bring him/her along as long as (a) he/she is well behaved, (b) vaccinated, (c) she is not in heat and (d) you come prepared to clean up your dog's mess.

Shelters and rescues across the country are awash in kittens. They arrive in boxes, carriers, and the arms of people who pull them out of a crawl space, garage or woodpile. The number of kittens entering shelters rises and falls with the population of unfixed, stray and community cats. The more unfixed cats, the more kittens turn up in people’s yards.
