Will You Commit To Helping A Dog Like Montha Today?
31st May 2015, by Soi Dog Foundation

IT WAS LATE AT NIGHT… I WAS JUST TRYING TO FIND SOME FOOD WHEN I WAS VICIOUSLY ATTACKED… I am Montha. I have lived on the streets of Thailand since the day I was born, like millions of others. I have never had an owner. I am 5 years old now. I did okay on the streets. There were some kind people in my territory who fed all the street dogs every day and I was managing to get by. I tried to stay out of trouble; I just wanted a quiet life. The night I was attacked is one I will never forget...

IT'S "SUPER-BOWL SUNDAY"! This is "Super-Bowl Sunday" for the Harmony Fund. It's our final day of the month to try to raise enough funds to fill the bowls of thousands of animals like these who are receiving their daily meal in Avsallar, Turkey today. If you can donate to help us buy a bowl or a bag of food, we'd be so grateful. Any donation, whether it's $9 or $900, will mean the world to these animals who wait for their meals and eat with such relief. The volunteers in Romania, Serbia, Gr...

Seriously After Meeting 'Kai', I Grow Even More Fo..
31st May 2015, by Dr Rayya's Online Veterinary Journal

Seriously after meeting 'Kai', I grow even more fond of the canine species. Poor thing just had her nose almost chopped off by another dog and was still wagging her tail and seeking pats and treats. She required emergency cosmetic surgery to place her right nostril back into position. And voila this is her post operative picture with her brighter than ever. You wouldn't even know she has been through so much trauma. Gosh I love dogs. <3 <3

Reaching Out To The Young
31st May 2015, by AnimalCare

Yesterday evening, I was invited to address a group of young Buddhists at the Buddhist Gem Fellowship. They were 12-17 year olds. It was an informal gathering codenamed “Whispers of the Heart” where the participants wrote down their questions anonymously and I would answer them. Their questions were very interesting, challenging (for me!) and even unexpected! It was an eye-opener for me, especially when I would readily confess that I am a little bit out of touch with the last of Ge...

My name is Chernlong. PLEASE ADOPT ME! E-mail deb@soidog.org to adopt me! I am a boy of nearly 5 years, 6 months old and have been living at Soi Dog, Phuket, Thailand for over 3 years now. I was found living outside a school with a very badly injured leg. I cannot describe the pain I was in. I was so lucky when Soi Dog rescued me and took me back to the shelter where I was allowed to stay. I do not think I would have survived otherwise. Sadly my leg was in such a terrible state that the vets...

Will You Sponsor Justice Today?
31st May 2015, by Soi Dog Foundation

WHEN I WAS JUST A SMALL PUPPY, I WAS DUMPED AND LEFT FOR DEAD. Will you please SPONSOR me? My name is Justice and I am telling you my story in the hope you will join the Sponsor Club. I arrived at the Soi Dog shelter after the founder John received a phone call to say a puppy had been abandoned on the bridge that connects the island of Phuket to the mainland. This area is a common dumping ground for unwanted dogs and puppies. I was so frightened as the trucks and cars whizzed past me and whe...
