CLICK TO JOIN THE CARE FOR CATS CLUB 30th Nov 2015, by Soi Dog Foundation
The lady who found me was horrified by my injury but had no idea what had happened to me. She is a kind lady who feeds all the street cats in her area – cats like me. I am a boy called Caraway and I am about 2 years of age. My whole life has been lived on the street.
When the lady found me, I had a terrible wound on my left front leg. It was severely swollen and very badly bruised. This leg was causing me a lot of pain and I was struggling to walk on it. I simply stood there and whimpered for...

What Is Declawing A Cat? 30th Nov 2015, by PetFinder.my
What Is Declawing A Cat?
Declawing is not merely the trimming of the claws. It is the surgical removal of the claws, which are closely adhered to the bone. In order to remove the claw and prevent its regrowth (which sometimes results from incomplete removal), the entire first joint of each of the cat's "toes" is amputated.
This procedure is often likened to amputation of all a human's fingers to the first knuckle. You can imagine the subsequent pain.
Declawing is not illegal in Malaysia, bu...

Please EMAIL all questions or enquiries to teresa@soidog.org

Sadly, his parents told him he could not keep me but luckily for me, a volunteer from Soi Dog lived next door and she made sure I was taken to the shelter instead of being dumped in the street once more.
Can YOU take me hom...

I CANNOT BE ADOPTED RIGHT NOW BUT YOU CAN HELP ME BY BECOMING MY SPONSOR
I was living peacefully on the streets of Phuket when some locals wanted to get rid of me. My name is Aro.
A kind man brought me to Soi Dog after he saw me being chased and overheard people say there were plans to poison me.
Sadly, my early years and experiences on the streets have made me a bit suspicious and I do not trust people. I can now live in safety here at the shelter but for this I need YOU.

Tam was found having been cruelly beaten. He arrived at our shelter with wounds on his head and legs after a savage attack by someone clearly intent on killing him.
It is only thanks to people like you that we were able to take Tam in, nurse his wounds, and help him regain his trust in humans once more.
After two years at our shelter, Tam was adopted by the lovely Marjo in Finland and here he is settling into his new life! Thank you Marjo for giving this gorgeous boy a loving home.

PLEASE CLICK HERE TO HELP DOGS LIKE HIM 29th Nov 2015, by Soi Dog Foundation
Who knows how long I would have suffered were it not for people like you?
I am a 7 year old boy and life on the streets was not kind to me. My name is Nosipho and I was found by an Animal Rescue Officer from Soi Dog. The first thing he noticed was how much I struggled to walk. My left hind leg appeared to be causing me terrible pain.
I was scared when that man picked me up. Life on the streets makes you wary of humans, but since being at the shelter, I am learning to trust them. The vets here...
