According to the adopter, Lucky was a stray dog roaming around his office area. Lucky is under medical treatment with one of reknown veterinar in Kuching.
The act of abandoning was performed by one of adopter's co-workers, and he regretted that his co-worker decided to act alone to abandone Lucky at our shelter. The adopter brought Lucky to his home and decided to nurt...

ABANDONED AT ONLY 8 WEEKS OLD
I was taken from my mother at only 8 weeks old. I was too young to remember much, but the trauma of that early separation and abandonment still haunts me to this day. The person who took me away dumped me in the garden of a Soi Dog volunteer. At the shelter, they named me Doris.
Will you please visit http://bit.ly/Sponsor-Doris to sponsor my ongoing care? Abandoned dogs like me cannot survive without your support.
Sadly, four years later I remain very fearful of ...

The offender was fined 5,000 THB (about 150 USD) and sentenced to 6 months’ imprisonment, suspended for 2 years (no custodial sentence).
Exactly how much suffering must be inflicted on an animal before a perpetrator of animal cruelty is punished to the full e...

AFTER FIVE YEARS AND FIVE MONTHS - HAPPY NEWS!
In January 2012, a dog was tied to a railing for hours with no food, no water and no human companion in sight. A concerned member of the public contacted us and we brought the dog back to the SPCA. All means to contact the dog’s owner failed and it appeared, sadly, that the dog was abandoned.
The team at SPCA went about preparing the dog, later named Happy, for adoption. He was examined by a veterinarian, underwent sterilisation surgery, vaccin...
