This morning, Ohio governor John Kasich signed House Bill 14 into law and forever changed the lives of pit-bull-type dogs in Ohio, ending the only statewide breed discrimination in the United States.

More Litter Tales (Part 2)

Call me crazy, but right now, I’m using three types of cat-litter.
I was hoping I’d be able to change to the paper-litter (for health and environmental friendliness) but my brood wouldn’t go anywhere near it. So I was going to give the whole pack away until my friend, Cathy, told me to sprinkle some onto my existing Ever Clean to get the cats slowly and gradually accustomed to the new litter.
Oh well, why not? Nothing to lose, I hope.

Cat-Proofing The Last Bastion….Ze Grille!

After all the heart-stopping episodes (my friend Cathy said her heart also stopped many times just reading my posts yesterday!) by Indy, Pole, Tabs and Cleo, we just had to do something to cat-proof the last bastion – the catgrille.
The catgrille was actually meant to curb Cow & Bunny from going out ‘coz they spray. But so far, only Cow sprays now. Maybe (just maybe) calling the place “Bunny’s Place” has had a good effect – Bunny doesn’t spray anymor...

A Rescued Puppy, Saved In The Nick Of Time (Leslie Guoh’s)

Last week, my friend, Leslie Guoh, texted to say a newly rescued puppy which her daughter had brought home, seemed very ill. The puppy was motionless, going down fast. She thought the puppy was going to die soon.
I advised her to quickly send the puppy to my vet for treatment. We will provide a subsidy since it is a rescued animal.
Leslie did, and today, the puppy is alright.
