Linda Suhaili and her family are the ones who have been going in to help Imm's Shelter with the clearing of the bushes, cutting of the grass and general maintenance of the shelter, including caring for the animals.

Linda rescued a dog from the roadside yesterday and she needs help in finding an adopter for this dog.

Please read below and kindly forward this link to your friends in Ipoh.

Dear Dr Chan,

I truly need your help. I rescued a stray dog yesterday morning on my way to work as I noticed it crumpled in a puddle of water by the road side. Took him to the vet but it seemed he was just tired with a sprained leg. The vet told me he's approximately 3 - 4 years old. He hasn't been spayed. Currently he's at my house but I am unable to foster him for long as my husband & i both need to go to work. As such, we had to lock him up in our store (although it's quite airy and spacious enough) as we both think it's too dangerous to leave him out in the open in plain sight as we live in a "kampung".

I've attached a few pics of him if anyone is interested in adopting him. We've temporarily named him Bobby after your inspiring dog. Anyhow, he's a wonderfully sweet tempered and well behaved dog which makes me believe that he was someone's pet previously. He doesn't even seem bothered with my cats lurking around him.

I would really appreciate if you could get him a foster home somewhere in Ipoh. I don't have the heart to ask Imm and Judy as they seem to have a lot on their hands too. I'd be willing to send him there as it just kills me to have to leave him locked up alone at my place.

Truly appreciate your help.
Warmest regards,
Linda Suhaili
