Sweet, Young Bellay Requires Treatment For Nasty Leg Wound

Bellay recently came to the shelter after animal rescue officer Khun Jaroon found her with an awful leg wound at a local hotel in one of the tourist areas of Phuket. The vets have no idea how she ended up with such a terrible wound, but thankfully because she came to the clinic in the nick of time, it has not become seriously infected.

Bellay is now being treated with antibiotics to prevent any serious infection developing and her wound is being cleaned daily. She is also on pain killers and anti-inflammatories to make her as comfortable as possible. The vets are pleased with her wound progress so far and are hopeful she will make a full recovery.

Only with your help are dogs like Bellay able to receive the care they need. You can help by becoming a member of the Emergency Response Team today by visiting https://www.soidog.org/en/donate-today/ert/ert.html
