Concerned Tourist Contacts Us About Dog With Awful Skin Problems

We were contacted recently about Adalardo, who was in extreme discomfort with skin problems mostly on his chest and legs, but also on other parts of his body. Adalardo was living near a beachside restaurant and the tourist noticed that he was scratching constantly and was concerned about his appearance.

Adalardo was collected by animal rescue officer Khun Thep and brought to the clinic for veterinary treatment. Adalardo has been scratching himself so badly that he has scabbing on some parts of his body and has lost a lot of his fur. Tests have shown that he is suffering from mange which has affected him deeply into his skin. He is being treated with medication and food supplements to aid with his recovery. It is expected that with a case this bad, Adalardo may require a lengthy course of treatment for his skin, but fortunately he appears to be in good health otherwise.
