BLACKIE looking relieved to be finally off the streets.
Finally he is relieved and happy, looking-up at his rescuer and feeling grateful. We won't let you down Blackie Boy - you can count on us.
Blackie waiting to be taken to the vet.
The tumour on Blackie's side.
The bulging tumour.
Tumour - ruptured and ulcerated.
Blackie, feeling relieved that someone has finally cared to help him.
Please help us help Blackie.

Yesterday while we were busy at our adoption drive we received a call from a young lady asking if we could come and rescue a dog from her housing estate in Klang. The male dog apparently had a tumour on its side which had ruptured. Its back legs were also weak and we figured this could be because the dog was physically weak. Not able to leave the adoption drive, we asked her to help us send the dog to one of our panel clinics. She agreed and the dog was taken to the clinic where the vet confirmed that it is a tumour. Blackie will soon be scheduled for surgery and we are keeping our fingers crossed that the tumour will be benign. There is so much of pain and anguish one has to face when involved in canine rescue activities. We shudder to think the physical pain and torture Blackie would have undergone if not spotted by these kind people. Blackie is now under our custody and we will stand by him at his hour of need like we always do no matter how bad a situation a rescued dog is in. As usual we need your help to treat Blackie as we have to raise to cost of the surgery. DETAILS -
