ADOPTION SPOTLIGHT:
VICTIMS OF COUNTRY RELOCATION
Cross-breed dogs BLACKY, DHOBY and HONEY and feline SMUDGE are among the star-crossed animals, being given up to our shelter, from their respective, previous homes all thanks, but no thanks, to their previous owners having to relocate, or migrate to another country. As a result, these animals paid the price for their ex-owners.
It has been generally shattering for these animals in their first few days, and weeks (and even months for some!), away from their previous owners (shelter volunteers have witnessed what seemed like tears in their eyes!). Thankfully, these animals have been resilient, and emerged even stronger individuals now given all that warmth, care and support shown to them by our shelter staff and volunteers.
What Blacky, Dhoby, Honey and Smudge had in common is their being relinquished by their previous homes. What they still have in common, though, is their pining for a loving home that will whisk them away to true happiness and meaning.
We appeal to all kind, nurturing hearts out there to open themselves and their homes to these darlings. If youre ready for the lifelong commitment to them, and can promise to love them forever (AND EVEN TAKE THEM WITH YOU should you ever be relocating to another country), please give Blacky, Dhoby, Honey and Smudge the key to your home. And your heart.
