I am a 5 year old boy, rescued from the street where I was sick and suffering. I was probably dumped there, unlike the many street dogs that have grown up on the streets.

My name is Miles and I am a shih tzu.

I was sick and miserable on the street. So much of my fur had fallen out. I also had bad eye discharge and was itching and uncomfortable.

I was found one day by a man called Khun Sanae. He is an Animal Rescue Officer with Soi Dog and when he saw the terrible condition I was in, he raced me to the shelter.

I was examined by a man called Dr. Eugene. He did something called a skin scraping, which told him that I was suffering from a fungal skin infection. This was the cause of all my misery.

Dr. Eugene started me on medication to get rid of this fungal thing and already I am starting to feel better. I am not the easiest patient Dr. Eugene has ever had though – every time he tries to treat me, I simply insist on cuddles instead.

Since I’ve been here, I’ve been told about some people called the Emergency Response Team. These are very special Soi Dog supporters, all over the world, who send regular donations to help the street dogs and cats of Thailand.

It is because of the Emergency Response Team that I was rescued and am now getting the treatment I needed so badly.

My time on the streets has shown me just how many dogs and cats are out there in need of help. Soi Dog wants to rescue them all but simply can’t do it without your help.

Please join the Emergency Response Team today so that more can be helped. No amount is too small; every penny will help in the rescue and treatment of a suffering animal like me.

All you have to do is click on my picture to get started.

Thank you.
