Thank you to everyone who came to visit us at the ACRES End Animal Cruelty Carnival on Sunday. It was a mad rush to get two bouncy castles, two dancing tubes, one inflatable arch, two gazebos, two large signs and our booth set up in less than an hour after the rain finally stopped, but we got everything done just in time and were able to welcome all who came to check out our Mega Combo Bouncer and Animal Kingdom Bouncer from 10 am onwards. We enjoyed watching visitors spin our Wheel of Fun to win air-filled balloons, notepads, umbrellas and gift vouchers, and were happy to give out lots of pats to their four-footed companions!

We want to give a shout-out to all the ACRES volunteers who helped out with so many different things, the mascots who were entertaining despite sweltering inside their costumes, the vendors who provided fun merchandise and fantastic food and drinks, the management and personnel of the Youth Park for being so helpful, and to all who came to support a great cause. Please keep supporting ACRES and help put an end to the suffering of many more animals. And please remember never to release helium-filled balloons to the sky.

ACRES (Animal Concerns Research & Education Society) is a pioneering Singapore-based charity and Institution of Public Character, founded by Singaporeans in 2001 with the aim of promoting animal welfare.

ACRES has six focus areas: Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation, Wildlife Crime Investigation, Zoo Animal Welfare, Humane Education, Community Outreach and Promoting Cruelty-Free Living.
