I am just 10 weeks old but I have been in pain for so much of that time. I am a boy called Volvo.

A man called Khun Jaroon picked me up one day. He is an Animal Rescue Officer with Soi Dog and he could see that I was having problems with one of my legs. It was swollen and I was having terrible problems walking on it.

At the shelter, I was examined by a lady called Dr. Rain. She said I had something called fibrosis, making the joint of my leg stiff. She suspects I have an old fracture that wasn�t treated at the time. She also told me I am severely anaemic but she is going to do her best to make me better.

I have already been through a lot for such a young dog, but despite this, I know I am one of the lucky ones. The regular donations of Soi Dog supporters are funding my treatment. Without these people, Khun Jaroon wouldn�t have been able to pick me up that day and I would have continued to suffer alone.

There are many other sick or injured street dogs and cats out there. They have nobody to help them; no owner to take them to a vet for treatment. YOU are the only hope these animals have. Please don�t let them down.
