The ACRES sanctuary has undergone a lot of changes through the past 1 year since the first day that volunteers started to work on it on the 13th of April 2013. A lot of hard work has been put into this small piece of land which has made a big difference to our animals. It has also been a learning experience for us at ACRES as we still continue to learn more about our animals, what environment they prefer, amount of shade they require, how we can enrich their lives through enclosure design and the list goes on. Based on our findings over the past one year, we decided to revamp our little sanctuary over the past few weeks. We are very grateful to the many volunteers who have turned up since to make the big change. We still have a bit of work left, but one thing is for certain…The ACRES sanctuary has been given a face lift and is ready to accommodate more of our animals into an outdoor environment. We once again thank everyone who has been a part of this project to give our rescued animals a better life as we work on our objective of getting them repatriated!

Last but not least, we invite everyone to attend our Volunteer Day on 19th October 2014! Join us for an overall make-up for the our rescue centre – the outdoor conservation classroom, education centre, volunteer house, & the wildlife sanctuary!
