Sasa Runs the Free-Roaming Dog Sanctuary in Nis, Serbia

“There are about abandoned 5,000 dogs on the streets of Nis, Serbia. 95% of the dogs from the shelter were rescued in moments when they needed help the most, otherwise they would be dead. More than 70% of the dogs in the shelter were puppies when they were rescued. And most of them I found in front of the shelter,dumped without mothers.

With so many dogs, there are huge jobs to be done and many stresses, but this is the price we pay in order for these dogs to be healthy and alive and to provide them as good life conditions and attention as possible! We are their only light thing in this cruel world, full of hate, where the death waits for them on every corner, and this is main reason because we do this! (All dogs are spayed/neutered)
