Only 7 days to Christmas! Whats on your wish list this Christmas?
We, at ACRES, have fulfilled our first wish for December a resounding success at the Wipe Out Animal Cruelty Car Wash on 14 December 2014. Below are some never-seen-before photos of the event!
We want to personally thank each and every person who made it the most talked about charity event of the year. It was featured on Channel 5 and Channel 8 news, CNA, The Straits Times, My Paper, The New Paper, Lianhe Zao Bao, Shin Ming Daily News, Berita Harian, and Tamil Marasu.
Feel free to tag your friends who contributed in one way or another, however big or small.
Minister Chuan-Jin Tan and Minister of State Desmond Lee for so sportingly (pun intended) washing grime off cars and bikes with Louis Ng – in rain and scorching sun – to support the end of animal cruelty!
Our 60 over superhuman volunteers who resolutely braved every conceivable change in weather, emerging both drenched and scorched. Way to go ACRES (Animal Concerns Research and Education Society) Volunteers!
The Grandstand – our venue sponsors – who facilitated operations so efficiently, the car wash proceeded without a hitch. Kudos too to their CEO, Benson Tan, who rolled up his sleeves and washed the cars alongside us.
The (literal) movers and shakers of the Harley Community on their Metal bikes Rave Chen for bringing together Militia Riders MC (Wilton Chow), War Pigs MC (Jap Loh), and Hard Heads MC. And the Mabuk Gragos (Shilton Re Russell Headech). You guys absolutely brought da house down! RAWK on!
The cool, sleek, eighty-strong force of dream cars brought together by Norman Souza Tan and Jeremy Dietrich Netto, who work as fast as the cars they drive JDM Legends (Aaron Lim), Sports Car Club (Rosalind Choo), GTR Club (Albert Lee), 86 Club (Paul Ng), MRS Club, and SLK Arrow. The mega convoy of heart-stopping cars driven by gorgeous people (some with dogs!) that revved a stoked crowd into a photo-snapping frenzy!
