They snatched me from the street. They crushed me into a metal cage with ten other dogs. They hurled hundreds of these cages, all filled with petrified dogs, on to a big truck. We drove in the dead of night towards the border.

I am a 5 year old boy called Joshua. I am a survivor of Asia�s barbaric dog meat trade.

Many dogs died on that truck with me. I couldn�t tell how many were still alive – the unnatural silence all around me was one of absolute terror.

When the truck was suddenly pulled over and we were rescued by Soi Dog, I was still scared. I didn�t know who to trust any more.

That is in the past now. My faith in humans has returned and I am very friendly. I just have so much love to give. Will you give me a chance?

I have seen many dogs leave here for their forever homes. I dream that one day, it will be me.
