LOCAL AND INTERNATIONAL SCHOOLS SHOWING THEIR SUPPORT FOR ANIMAL PROTECTION!

Earlier this month, a Secondary 3 class from Xinmin Secondary School visited the ACRES Wildlife Rescue Centre (AWRC) for an educational talk and tour, to learn more about animal protection in Singapore. With the knowledge and values gained, these students are now better equipped to take on their Values-in-Action project!

A group of students from Stamford American School Singapore recently rendered their volunteering services to us during the school’s period of hosting a Global Issues Network Conference. They have learned how ACRES is contributing to tackle issues regarding wild animals in Singapore. We also participated in their conference by setting up our educational roadshow exhibits at their campus.

It is indeed the role of every individual in Singapore to ensure that our wildlife and domestic animals are protected and cared for, and that we are truly the ‘green city’ we are known to be!
