Gifts By Donation: Parquet In Pink Blanket

Here’s the gift:

The making:

I LOVED making this blanket as it’s “real” patchwork in that I made use of scraps, literally!

Dug out all the reds and pinks…

I made parquet patches, in no particular pattern. After all, that’s why it’s called “patchwork”.

I’ll do the final selection of which piece goes where….never trust a human.
They almost always get it wrong.�

I’m sitting on the pieces so they don’t fly off.�

And thank you, Chen Chen, for the red and pink thread!

Vivian and her mum like the blanket so much, they have ordered a “guy-blanket” for a boy.

Blankets are not obsolete…yet!
