Soi Dog Foundation

My name is Jarvis. I am a male aged 4 years old.

Email cristy@soidog.org to ADOPT me.

I was so afraid – I was grabbed from the street and squashed into a small metal cage with many other dogs and taken away on a truck to cross the border. I could not understand why I was in this cage and why these people were doing this to me.

I am bigger and it hurt being in the metal cage with other dogs. Where were these people taking me? Why were there so many of us? I could hear the younger dogs crying with fear as we travelled through the night, the older dogs unable to cope with the stress and heat during the day. Many died as we drove towards the border – I will never forget how bad I felt as I could not do anything for them.

I awoke to the rattling of cages and the truck stopping abruptly. All the cages were taken off and we were released and put into a big truck and taken to a shelter in Buriram, northern Thailand. I was pretty scared – there were so many dogs. I now live in a compound with 100s of dogs.

My name is Jarvis and I am a lovely friendly boy who is very affectionate. I love to jump up and crave attention. I have lots of energy and am confident in my compound. No one bullies me.

I am about 4 years old and would be suitable in a home with another female dog. I would love lots of long walks and would be the most loyal boy you could meet.

Soi Dog want to help me find a forever home so if you have a place in your heart to adopt me please contact cristy@soidog.org.

I have heard great things about the USA, Canada, the UK and Europe and am not fussy – I will like to live in any one of these places.

My only request is that it is with a family who loves me.
