Please Don't Let Dogs Like Evol Down

BECAUSE OF YOU, THEY CAN SAVE ME�

I am a girl called Evol, a stray dog of Thailand. I am only a year and a half old, but I have never known what it is to have a home or someone to care for me.

I tried to look after myself on the streets, I really did. I wish I could tell you what caused the horrendous wound on my back, but that secret will forever remain with me. I have heard the vets here say it is one of the worst they have ever seen.

When I was picked up by an Animal Rescue Officer from Soi Dog, the wound was horribly infected and crawling with maggots and pus. I was in agony and no longer had the will to move. Although I was terrified, I let the man pick me up.

It is only because of donations from people like you that I can be treated now. Without that, I would have got something called septicaemia and died. Because of you, I was saved in the nick of time.
