Become An Angel For Dogs Like Thitipan Today

THE REASON THE DOGS OF THAILAND NEED YOU

Thitipan is just 2 years old. Having lived on the streets all his life – like millions of others – he has fought every day just to stay alive. He arrived at our shelter in horrendous condition, looking years older than his actual age.

A serious dog fight had left Thitipan with a dangerously infected wound on his neck and a huge sac of liquid had accumulated under his jaw.

Struggling with an extreme case of demodectic mange, he had bald patches all over his body. The little bit of fur he had left was matted and filthy. He was anaemic and shockingly emaciated.

We really didn’t know if Thitipan would make it.

He was immediately started on a course of treatment for his mange and anaemia. The infection in his wound was so bad that he had to be given general anaesthesia in order for our vets to thoroughly clean it and to drain the liquid from the mass under his jaw.

Thitipan is slowly healing now, but his journey to recovery will be long. He is currently residing in Soi Dog’s tiny clinic, along with many other sick and injured dogs. This is the same clinic we have used since day one and the reality is that it is simply too small.

We are now being asked to treat more and more dogs each day and our clinic cannot cope with the numbers. Our biggest fear is that dogs will die if they don’t get the dedicated facility they deserve.

Only YOU can make the dog hospital happen. Thanks to existing supporters, building work is now underway, but funds are still desperately needed. We need to ensure we can complete construction, equip the hospital with everything it needs, and keep it running.

We are hopeful that Thitipan will make a full recovery, but without this urgently needed facility, others will not.

Will you please become an Angel for Dogs today and change things for the better for the dogs of Thailand?

The dogs of Thailand urgently need your help. Soi Dog’s vet clinic is far too small for the number of neglected, injured and abused dogs it cares for and dogs are suffering and dying as a result. Please donate about a dollar a day to help them.
