WWF-Malaysia's Sustainable Seafood Business Seminar

WWF-Malaysia organised the first-ever Sustainable Seafood Business Seminar in Kota Kinabalu on the 31st of July in conjunction with Sustainable Seafood Festival 2015.

This seminar aims to increase awareness on sharks as a highly threatened marine species due to unsustainable consumption, and to urge hotels and restaurants in Sabah to consider removing shark fin from their menus.

Presenters were representatives from Department of Fisheries Malaysia, WWF-Malaysia, Sabah Shark Protection Association, and Shangri-La International Hotel.
