End The Suffering For Dogs Like Gerlinde

My name is Gerlinde and I could only be helped because of someone like you.

I have lived on the streets my whole life. It hasn’t been easy, but kind people near my territory would feed me and I managed to get by until recently.

Stray dogs like me risk our lives every day, just trying to survive. In my case, when something scared me and I ran into the road, I got hit by a car. I have seen this happen before to other stray dogs, and I never wanted it to happen to me.

The accident left me with a huge wound on my tummy that stretches all the way down to the top of my back legs. I was in agony and I would most certainly have died alone on that street, if it weren’t for people like you.

Soi Dog Foundation was able to pick me up and race me to the shelter and into the arms of Dr Eed, who provided life-saving emergency treatment. The wound was so deep I had to be given special medication to make me sleep while she cleaned it out and removed the dead tissue surrounding it.

That was a few days ago and I am slowly getting better, but I have a long road ahead of me. The vets here clean out my wound every day and are very gentle with me when dressing it. I too am gentle with them – I understand they are trying to help me.

Things would be very different if it were not for Soi Dog supporters. There is no other source of help for dogs like me. Without regular donations from kind-hearted animal lovers all over the world, we would simply die on a daily basis.

Will YOU please help us? With YOUR support, so many more sick, injured, abused or abandoned dogs and cats can be saved. Without you, we have no hope.

Every day, Soi Dog Foundation picks up sick and injured stray animals that are in desperate need of emergency medical treatment. With no government funding, we urgently need YOUR support to save them.
