TIED TO A POLE AND ABANDONED BY HIS OWNER…

A kind lady and her husband found Glenna abandoned in the street. He had been tied to a pole and was unable to move. His constant crying had alerted the couple, who contacted our clinic.

We may never know what happened to Glenna, but he is currently unable to use either of his hind legs, which were causing him obvious pain when he arrived at our shelter. His muscles have wasted and both legs are covered in wounds. If only this poor boy could talk.

Despite all he has been through at the hands of some human, Glenna is one of the happiest, friendliest dogs in our clinic. Despite how crowded the space is with other dogs in need of treatment, his tail never stops wagging and he loves to give us a few licks when we stop to say hello.

After being brought to our shelter by the kind couple who found him, poor Glenna had to endure another trip to a practice where he could undergo an x-ray. Sadly, our little clinic, where we have operated from day one, does not have such facilities.

Thankfully, Glenna does not have any fractures and has now been started on physical rehabilitation to get his back legs working again. Our veterinary staff battle day in, day out, with limited facilities, to make things better for dogs like Glenna. Please help us get these dogs the dedicated hospital they need.

Building work continues, but funds are desperately short. If YOU become an Angel for Dogs to help make this dog hospital happen, you will be changing the world for dogs like Glenna. The hospital will include facilities such as a hydrotherapy room and other specialist rehabilitation equipment so that sick or injured street dogs can finally get the treatment and care they deserve.

We are so close to making this a reality for the dogs of Thailand. We don’t want to give up now, but it simply can’t happen without YOU. Will you please become an Angel for Dogs like Glenna now?

After all he has been through, this happy, friendly boy deserves a second chance at life. Please help us give him – and thousands of others – the facility they deserve.

The dogs of Thailand urgently need your help. Soi Dog’s vet clinic is far too small for the number of neglected, injured and abused dogs it cares for and dogs are suffering and dying as a result. Please donate about a dollar a day to help them.
