Dear Dr. Chan,

First of all I would like to thank you for the subsidies given to my 7 wards as follows:

10. 4. 2015 – neutering 1 female dog and 1 female cat

11. 11. 2014 – a dog and 2 cats

16. 12. 2014 – two male cats

This time I would like to seek your assistance in subsidising the neutering of a female dog and two male cats.

As informed in my last mail, in April 2015 I adopted a female terrier (mixed), which was much neglected in a cage when its owner was sent to jail for drug abuse, and the wife could not take care of it because she was due for delivery that month.

She is now a healthy girl and ready for spaying.

The two male cats were found as kittens abandoned in a box at the Air Panas market. There were four of them but two died.

Incidentally, last week my housemate Jeff found four kittens abandoned in a wet drain. Alas, cold had already set in and only one survived.

You might want to know about the old lady with dogs I had helped her to neuter under Animal Care. Well, according to the neighbour, she and her dogs (but one) just vanished overnight. It was surmised that she had gotten ill and a relative had carted them away to Rawang.

Lastly, I would like to tell you that I have now ten dogs and more than a dozen cats in my house. The dogs are happy and healthy, but some of the cats are affected by a long drawn bout of cough and sneezes. I still feed the dogs at the hill everyday.
