WILL YOU HELP SAVE MORE DOGS LIKE HIM?

I LOST MY EYE BUT SOMEONE LIKE YOU SAVED MY LIFE

The car that hit me came out of nowhere. I have lived all my life on the streets and have always managed to stay safe until now. I am a 5 year old boy called Jokull.

The car slammed into me and I had no chance of escape. It left me with one of my eyes popping out of its socket. Shortly after that, I was picked up by an Animal Rescue Officer from Soi Dog.

I lost my left eye that day. It was so badly damaged by the impact of the car that it could not be saved. It was causing me such terrible pain and had to be removed immediately. Dr Su did a good job when she removed it, and she made sure I was sleeping so I didn’t feel anything.

Despite all I have been through, I am one of the happiest dogs at the shelter. I am always ready with a smile and a wagging tail when they come to check on me. Humans could learn a lot from a dog like me.

It saddens me to say but were it not for the Soi Dog supporters who funded my care, I would not be here today telling you my story. Left to die alone and in agony, there would have been simply no hope for me.

As you read this, another dog is in the same situation I was. Soi Dog wants to help them all but simply can’t do it without you. Will you please consider a small, monthly gift so that more sick, injured, abused or abandoned animals can be saved?

We don’t deserve the life we’ve been born into, but only YOU can change it. You are truly the only hope we have – there is no other source of help.

Please don’t let us down. Click on my picture to commit to helping us today. Every penny donated will make a difference. Without it, we have nothing.

Every day, Soi Dog Foundation picks up sick and injured animals in desperate need of medical treatment. With no government funding, we urgently need YOUR support to save them. Will you help?
