MAYBE MY HUMAN FORGOT ME WHEN HE MOVED HOUSE

I like to think he would have come back for me, but he never did. I was very sick and suffering a great deal. Is this why he didn’t take me?

At just 5 years of age, had I already become a burden? I really didn’t mean to be, but I needed medical care and I just didn’t get it. My name is Phoenix Frey.

Soi Dog started to receive messages about me from concerned people who realised I was all alone. I have a tumour-like mass on one of my eyes, which was bleeding when I arrived here at the shelter. Another tumour is taking over my belly.

I am sick with various tick-borne illnesses that could so easily have been treated before now, and my emaciated, anaemic body is covered in weeping sores.

I need surgery to remove these tumours but the first step is getting me strong enough. I have been started on treatment for the anaemia and tick-borne illnesses that have plagued me for so long. The vets say that when I have regained a bit more strength, they will be able to do this surgery thing. Will you please help me?

I have been let down by the one person in the world I loved the most. I have no special person of my own to care for me now and I will never know what I did to deserve that. All I wanted was to love and be loved in return. Will you please give me a second chance at life by funding my care?

By joining the Emergency Response Team today, you will be funding life-saving medical treatment for me and thousands of others each year. I have nowhere else to turn. I don’t think my owner will ever come back and so I am left with just one hope – YOU.

Please click on my picture to help with a regular, monthly gift. No amount is too small; every penny will ensure I get the vital medical treatment I need. I have nobody else to ask.

Every day, Soi Dog Foundation picks up sick and injured animals in desperate need of medical treatment. With no government funding, we urgently need YOUR support to save them.
