White Sand arrived at our shelter as a young puppy over 3 years ago. He had been found abandoned in an area where there was no access to food or water and would have certainly died if left there.

Thanks to you, we were able to care for White Sand and keep him safe until a wonderful lady in England named Kelly got in touch to say she would like to adopt him.

Here’s White Sand, now re-named Desmond, out for his daily walk and loving life in the UK! Thank you Kelly for giving this boy such a great home.

Can YOU adopt a rescue dog or cat as Kelly has done? We have hundreds of deserving animals in our shelter. Please visit http://www.soidog.org/en/adoptions/ to see some of them and email teresa@soidog.org to discuss further.
