Ka-Na - Please Adopt Me!

BLIND GENTLEMAN IN NEED OF A HOME! Please ADOPT KA-NA!

My name is Ka-Na and I am looking for a new home. Please email ALL QUESTIONS to inga@soidog-foundation.org to adopt me.

I am 7 ˝ years old boy and when the Soi Dog Rescue Officers found me here on the streets in Phuket, Thailand. I had a serious injury to my left eye and could no longer see out of it. I was also being destroyed by a shocking case of mange – my fur was falling out and I was covered in crusty, scabby sores. Just when they thought I couldn’t possibly suffer any more, they found a tumour at my private bits.

It was sadly too late to save my damaged eye, which had to be removed. It’s okay, they made sure I was asleep when this happened and so I felt nothing. I cannot tell you how good it feels to no longer suffer with that painful eye. Unfortunately I can’t see on my remaining eye. They also removed the tumour and treated me for my mange. I am healthy now and my fur is beautiful and thick.

I like to get that beautiful fur stroked by the way. Once I smell and hear that a visitor is around I go up to them and stand silently next to them, full of hope that they will notice and pet me. I don’t throw myself at visitors like some of the other dogs; I consider myself a gentleman!

Don’t let my blind eye fool you, I am always happy to go for walks. I just need a bit of guidance, surely you understand? Do you like calm strolls and need a gentle companion? Then I might be the friend you are looking for! I wouldn’t mind sharing my walks and my home with another gentle, mellow dog with calm energy.

Maybe you have experience of looking after a blind dog like me? Maybe you just have a lot of love to give and the time to help me adjust to life outside the shelter? Either way, I would love to hear from you.

Please email ALL QUESTIONS to inga@soidog-foundation.org to make this happen. I hope to meet you soon. I will be waiting.
