May the 4th Be With You… and Your Pets!
May 4th is International Star Wars day, and fans of the series are gearing up for a day of festivities they’ve been waiting for all year.
Dressing up dogs and cats in costumes is a guilty pleasure of many a pet owner, but couple that with a love of Star Wars and you have a sure-fire formula for animal cosplay today.
For those of you not up to snuff on your Star Wars knowledge, here’s a quick debrief in case the decision to make the day on May 4th seems a bit arbitrary.
The Jedi expression ‘May the force be with you’ is a major theme and plot device within the series, leading to the ‘May the fourth’ date for the holiday.
But Star Wars fan or not, anyone can appreciate how aww-worthy these pets are in their themed costumes!
