It’s been about 5 weeks since a 7.8 magnitude quake struck Ecuador causing widespread damage and injuring some 27,000 people. Despite a terrifying series of powerful aftershocks, volunteers from Acci�n Animal Ecuador worked to exhaustion providing rescue and care for so many animals, both domestic and wild.

They’ve asked us for help to provide a second round kennels, leashes, vaccines, pain relievers and other veterinary supplies. Anyone who remembers Hurricane Katrina will know that millions of dollars were raised to care for the animal victims, but in Ecuador, there is no wave of donations.
