MORE PROTECTION FOR MARINE TURTLES IN SINGAPORE

Were delighted with this latest initiative to help protect vulnerable marine turtles!

Over the years, ACRES has been called upon to rescue many turtle hatchlings who have become lost and disorientated and found themselves in danger.

Soon, turtle eggs will have a safe place to develop should they need protection, with plans being made for Singapores first sea turtle hatchery, supported by a $500,000 donation from HSBC Singapore.

The facility will be set up at the southern lagoon on Small Sisters’ Island by the end of next year, and will form an integral part of Singapore’s first marine park.
