t’s the time of the year again, the International Eco-Schools Conference. A platform where students gather to share and exchange ideas on sustainability. Themed ‘Waste Management and its Impact on Nature and Biodiversity’ we kicked off the conference with a movie entitled “Plastic Oceans “. What made it more meaningful the session was joined by Jo Ruxton, the film producer herself.

Jo, through various questions posted by the conference delegates shared her insights about the future of the marine ecosystem and its issue on plastic pollution that has reached an alarming level. She emphasized the power of the younger generations where their voices can make a real difference to the future of our oceans.
