Punish Animal Cruelty Offences In Thailand To The Full Extent Of The Law!
Thailand enacted its first animal welfare law in December 2014, making acts of animal cruelty a criminal offence. Acts of animal cruelty are punishable by up to 2 years’ imprisonment and/or a 40,000 THB fine (about 1,200 USD).
Despite this law, sentencing to date has been overly lenient and acts of horrific animal cruelty continue to be perpetrated.
Please join with Thai animal lovers in signing this petition to Thailand’s Minister of Justice urging animal cruelty offences to be punished to the full extent of the law.

Ask Thailand’s Minister of Justice to show the world that his country stands with other civilised countries in not tolerating cruelty to animals.
