This is Pegas’ story:

I had an owner once. But one sad day, my owner decided I was no longer wanted and dumped me near a busy road, far away from my home. A very kind lady tried to help me. She gave me food and water, and even tried to find a new home for me. But in the end, she had to contact Soi Dog Foundation for help.

The shelter is very different to the life I knew before. However, I like to take on everything with a brave smile, and I greet the staff and volunteers with a waggy tail. I am told that I am a very sweet girl who would do well in a loving home. I still find some things at the shelter a little overwhelming, but I know that my confidence will grow when I have my own special human to trust. Could that human be you?

Soi Dog Foundation

Established in 2003 in Phuket, Thailand, Soi Dog is Southeast Asia's largest organisation helping stray animals. The Gill Dalley sanctuary in Phuket is home to over 1,600 animals.
