Punish Animal Cruelty Offences In Thailand To The Full Extent Of The Law!

Thailand introduced its first Animal Welfare Bill in December 2014, making acts of animal cruelty a criminal offence punishable by up to 2 years’ imprisonment and/or a 40,000 THB fine.

Despite this, sentencing to date has been overly lenient and acts of horrific animal cruelty continue to be perpetrated. This is no doubt due in part to the lack of any kind of strict sentencing that might act as an effective deterrent.

Please SIGN & SHARE this important petition to demand justice for the victims of animal cruelty in Thailand! Thank you.

Please ask Thailand’s Minister of Justice to show the world that his country stands with other civilised countries in not tolerating cruelty to sentient beings.
