Just two years old, she was probably purchased from a breeder when she was a cute pup and once the reality of owning a husky set in, she was discarded like trash. Nessie�s condition shows that she has been suffering for some time and probably never received the medical care she needed. She is battling terrible skin problems and her frail body was covered in wounds when she was found by our Community Outreach team.

There was heavy discharge from her eyes and nearly all her lashes had fallen out. Her fur was falling out in clumps, leaving painful sores on her face and legs. What remained of her fur was matted and filthy. Beautiful Nessie was the face of neglect but thanks to people like you, she now stands a chance.

Nessie is now undergoing treatment and we are hopeful that with the right love and care, she will make a great recovery. But sadly, she is one of many cases in need of help this week alone.
