Punish Animal Cruelty Offences In Thailand To The Full Extent Of The Law!

This is Jaew Born. He now lives in a wonderful home in the US, but he has been through hell to get there.

Jaew Born was a homeless dog living on the streets of Thailand when he was shot between the legs while he lay sleeping. With no animal welfare law in place in Thailand at the time, this horrific act went unpunished. In late December 2014, Thailand introduced its first animal welfare law. Prior to this, acts of animal cruelty were not considered a criminal offence. The new law changed this, introducing maximum penalties of up to 2 years’ imprisonment and/or a 40,000 THB fine (approximately US$1,200).

But to this day, sentencing in animal abuse cases continues to be shockingly lenient, meaning there is no adequate deterrent in place. Until the sentencing reflects the serious nature of the crime, incidences of horrific animal cruelty will continue. Please sign the petition now and demand justice for dogs like Jaew Born, the innocent victims of shocking cruelty and abuse: https://bit.ly/Justice_For_The_Victims_Of_Cruelty

Jaew Born’s injuries were so serious that his leg had to be amputated in order to save his life. But following treatment at Soi Dog Foundation, this handsome boy made a wonderful recovery and now has a loving home in the US.

His story cannot be forgotten however, and we are determined to get justice for victims of animal abuse like him. Please sign the petition now, demanding that acts of animal abuse in Thailand be punished to the full extent of the law: https://bit.ly/Justice_For_The_Victims_Of_Cruelty
