Looking for a home for the older dog (a stray) we've been feeding and she gave birth to 9 adorable babies on December 10th. Days later one baby crossed the rainbow.
Mama dog belong to a neighbor but they abandoned her when she got pregnant. She gave birth under a tree just on the dirt. The next day mum, sis and I built a temporary home using 3 umbrellas and rugs (2nd pic). Mama and babies got soaked wet in the rain few times. Last week with a saw and some pounding (hammer) remodeled an old cabinet to a better home for them and shifted all of them to the back of our house where it is quiet. They are safe from rain, shine, clean blankets every other day, tons of chicken rice + Pedigree food for mama dog and babies are growing in a healthy environment. Babies are quiet cubby!
Unfortunately, my parents home don't have a yard to keep them and we are afraid when the babies start walking someone may complain and the city dog catcher may take them away. The city catches the stray in a very cruel way by beating and abuse them or give to the zoo as meat for lions and tigers.
Hoping people will adopt the babies by end of January (before I head back to US get their life situated) then I plan on keeping mama dog as our home pet get her spayed, license and a big cage so she is safe instead of sending her to a shelter. She is an older dog, gotten attached with us and and an obedient girl and rarely roams away from our sight unless when nature calls.
So if you or your friends in Kuala Lumpur or nearby Tanjung Malim looking to adopt one or two babies. Am willing to hand deliver the babies if the location of the adopter is far. Please contact me and pass this info to your friends.
I truly don't want to send mama dog to the shelter with babies since she only has few more years.
