About Myself
Welcome to Pet finder! Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Daphne. I'm actually from Sungai Petani, Kedah but currently stay at Kl due to working purpose.
I'm a new mother of a daughter, a maid for a Miniature Schnauzer and I'm born to be an animal lover. I love animals like cats, dogs, rabbits as well as hamster ^^...
My Experience for taking care of animals started since I was a kid. I use to have lot of cats because I love to feed stray cats then bring them back to my house. However, my parents seem don't like them at the beginning so as many as I bring back the strays my mom will throw them away but after longer time of me continued in feeding strays and bring them home, my parents seem started to accept them. Especially My Dad, he did bought the kibbles every time and help me to feed them because my dad started to get influence by me and very close to them already. I still remember my dad told me that once we adopted an animal we have to have the responsibility to take care of them till the rest of their life, we can't adopt an animal just for fun then throw away or pass it to somebody when we feel bored of having them. 1 animal equal to 1 commitment so 10 animals will be 10 commitments we need to commit.
I always remember what my dad told me and I'm agree with what he said, if you cannot commit the commitment then don't adopt it!
Now I have already grow up and married to my husband that love animals as me too. However, due to we are staying in a condo that is rented and sharing with others We are not allow to have more than 1 pet since I already have 1 (Murphy).
Murphy is my new owner in Kl, I take care of him everyday by feeding him, clearing his poo poo, pee and cleaning his cage. Sometime if his mood is not good I need to entertain him as well, no choice because he is my owner and I'm his maid. Weekly I need to bath him and do the grooming for him. ^^

Hi Bavanie, so sad to heard your poodle, Yuuki face the same as your poodle, in 2nd day, he getting better I though he ad recover but after the nxt day he getting worst. I hate the Vet that told me Yuuki still 50% 50% chance to recover in fact, they did not noe how to treat parvo, they just want to earn money by cheating us. If I noe they did not noe how to save my puppy, Yuuki at the 1st day oso the same without any fever illness. Do u noe after Yuuki past away, i did do a lot research about parvovirus, that is a good chance for puppy to recover if we found them with this sickness in the early stages. http://www.drpitcairn.com/ ( go to this website, to learn more about veterinary), I suggest u to buy (Natural Health for Dogs and Cats) Dr Pitcairn's book . leave a question to him, what would u like to know about any sickness, Dr Pitcairn will guild u how to treat it by using his book.
Bavanie, u are right, I regret myself not study any veterinary medicine before, when my puppy get parvo, i even did not noe that if the Vet given him a right medicine. I personally hope u can study veterinary if you got the chance, try ur hard to apply UPM again, dont give up! You got very good result of SPM, I'm sure u still got the chance. I'm not like u, I did not took science study during my SPM, I was taken the ART Class. Although I cant be a veterinary but now I doing a lot research and study about veterinary so that I can have better idea about most common disease and what treatment should we give and what medicine we should not give to our puppy.
Bavanie u should let me noe earlier when ur puppy get parvo coz I have the treatment from Dr Pitcairn on parvovirus, i can copy for u. He is using Homeopathy treatment, no harm to the pet.

hie, i recently lost my poodle due to parvo virus too. i went to one vet first, he gave me normal diarrhea med. the second vet i went to, said that it might be parvo but didnt do the test as the puppy didnt have fever. on the third day i brought the poodle to the same vet. again they just gave vitamin jab and antibiotics and diarrhea med. the poodle was a little bit active on the 2nd day and we thought he was recovering. but it was actually because of the vitamin. it was actually false hope that the vet gave us. on the third day, he became worse and it was chinese new year. all the other vets didn't' want to attend to our puppy. all of them were money minded and didn't care about the pup's life. i then found out that there is a 24hours animal medical centre in jln tun razak and brought him there. the doc said the pup had only 50-50 chances of survival and we've brought him too late. we insisted on continuing the treatment however for 2days. after that the poodle became worse. it had fits. so we decided to put him to sleep. u cant blame the breeder as we are the ones who are so greedy to get a cheap pet that we don't even care that the pup has only been vaccinated once. it is very dangerous at that stage. if we don't buy, they wont sell. and as for the vets, i am really dissapointed. how can they be soo money minded. i hope that they will die the same way the puppies die. just because it is a holiday doesnt mean that a life is not important. be it a human being or an animal.. a life is a life. i really wanted to become a vet, i studied hard for spm, got 10a's but didnt get into UPM, and didn;t get any scholarships. now i'm doing law instead. Damn goverment... if only they'd let people who really love animals become vets, then we wont have these kind of vets. do u know that most vets didnt want to study for veterinary medicine in the begining? they were forced to do it. the university forced them to do that course. that is why they don't have that much of love towards animals. the conclusion is, the government is the main thing to be blamed. why aren't there pvt colleges to study veterinary medicine? i hope somebody who has the money will do something about it. :/

Hi Daphne, its ok. i dun blame him. As for Mark, yeah, his name is very bad already. we breeders also heard about his bad reputation. its ok, since we cant turn back time, just be more careful the next time when u get a new pet. let the bygone be gone... All the best. and yes, we definitely can be frens :)

Hi Daphne, its alright. u actually dun owe me an apology. perhaps, i was the one who created the misunderstanding by posting the comment at first.
I hope you get over the sadness and move on. although yuuki is no longer here but hope and love is still around so dun give up. Pets r fun to be with. hope you will find the right pet again soon. Happy new year !

nonono..i m not dog trainer...i juz help ppl wth my experiance...since now i never meet cotton's owner.i m d1 who ask her2adopt cotton.whn she got problem as dis d 1st time she has dog,so i must help her.dats all.actually i12have a petshop,breeding dog,12go2learn grooming n dog training.dats my dream since i was small.sudenly all changed whn i saw dis website.i only notice dat so many dogs even pedegree oso abandoned,diseksa,chained o juz lock in a small cage....i wory dat next time whn my bb dog dat i breed wil get bad owner.so,i dun12breed any dog 4sale as i love my dog,dun1my dogs' kid get in2 bad ppl hand...so i hav2stop my dream...

Good to know a kind hearted like you that is willing to help out SPCA. You can get in touch with Jacinta at SPCA to find out more about how you can volunteer with them.

I haven't taken public transport there, but I believe the Putra LRT might stop somewhere nearby Jalan Ampang where you can take a bus to SPCA, or maybe even within walking distance. Please clarify with Jacinta on that.

i only can let u know there r tribunal department exist in the government section but i dunno where.
in kk sabah the tribunal department is in the wisma kwsp.
Good Luck and try to spread the news to every unlucky owner that have gone thru the same experience with this segar clinic. I think it will be better u write up a statement and ask mangsa lain to sign to support ur statement (the more the better) to prove they have been through this. Any receipt or any evidence provided are better. But please photocopy a copy for ur own before u pass to the tribunal, just in case. (to protect ur own)

And if this case can't be accept by tribunal, try to ask them which, where, what department can help u to solve this problem.

or another option...jabatan haiwan? The department that helps animal fights their rights.

ever heard of tribunal?
Tribunal is a place for customer to lodge report due to any problem.
but i dunno they will accept ur case or not.
If cannot try to ask them how and where to lodge report for ur case. Hope this little info can help u. Good Luck
ooh and please highlight to them that the vet refuse to issue a report of yuki's health to u. and lodge this case asap. The earlier u report, the better chance for u to sue them. |
