Jonah was diagnosed with leg cancer and his right hind leg needs to be amputated. 		  Treatment Location

About The Pet

Jonah was rescued from an empty house in Sungai Long. I noticed his right hind leg swollen and I took him to vet.

Dr Grace of J-Avenue attended to Jonah and she did an X-Ray and blood test on him. The result confirmed Jonah was diagnosed with leg cancer. The only fix to his condition is to amputate the leg in order to stop the cancer cell from spreading.

Jonah was put under observation for one week as he has weak heart and doctor confirmed he is fit to undergo the operation.

The operation was successful and Jonah recovered quickly. Jonah shows good appetite and there was no major side effect after the operation.

The cost of the operation is RM700 and it covers the following :
a) Amputation surgery
b) IV drip
c) pain killer
d) Injection
e) Antibiotic

Jonah is now coping well with his 3 legged condition.

Update : Jonah passed away peacefully after a long and intense battle with cancer. I am so thankful that Jonah was surrounded by love for 2 months before he died. Although Jonah's life changed completely after his hind leg was amputated but yet Jonah lives on with determination.
