I've been feeding Elpy and her brother for months. Both sought shelter in a concrete covered drain by a very busy junction at Putra Heights. My boyfriend and I decided to take them in when we found that someone had been intentionally closing off the entrance of their drain shelter every now and then. We only managed to rescue Elpy. She is currently under my care.
Initially, Elpy was very timid and very scared as both her and her brother had very limited human contact growing up out on the streets. She's starting to warm up to me, sniffing my hand and playing bow even. As I am also currently caring two younger and much smaller pups, I have noticed that she not only plays with them, she always watches out for them and takes care of them.
We hope that she will find a good home with caring pet owners. She loves dog treats, biscuits and rawhide to chew on occasionally. She is caring, loving and a very pretty jet black dog. She's also very graceful, slender and quiet.
We are currently making an appointment with a vet for Elpy to be spayed.
