Dak is a pretty girl, approx 6 years old. She’s been at the shelter here in Phuket for 5 years now. She’s quiet & a little bit shy. She likes the easy life – very easy going with the other dogs & keeps out of trouble. She originally came from the government dog pound. She’s such a lovely girl & we’d love to see her curled up on someone’s couch. She’s done her time at the shelter & now needs a loving home. Dak’s spent almost her entire life at the shelter, so would probably have no idea how to walk up stairs or have felt carpet under her feet. She’s never laid on a soft bed. She’s sterilized & fully vaccinated & can be adopted locally or abroad. Dak is medium sized with beautiful soft, tan & white coat. If there’s a space on your couch for Dak, please email cindy@soidog.org. Just say the word & we’ll pack Dak’s bags for her.

Soi Dog Foundation is a not-for-profit, legally registered charitable organization in Thailand, the United States, Australia, the UK, France and Holland. Soi Dog helps the homeless, neglected and abused dogs and cats of Thailand. Our aim is to set an example for the Asian region on how to humanely reduce the number of unwanted dogs and cats through spaying and neutering, and to better the lives and living conditions of the stray dogs and feral cats of Asia. De-sexing (Sterilization) has been proven to be the most effective way to help the animals. Soi Dog has has reached a milestone of over 39,000 dogs and cats sterilized! Totaling 39,050 dogs and cats as of June 2012. Soi Dog is made up of people like yourself, be they financial supporters, field or shelter volunteers, fundraisers etc. with a common goal of helping neglected and abused dogs & cats.
