A New Cage For Houdini, The Feline Sporo-Escape Artist (Susan Bells)
Sometime ago, Susan Bell wrote to seek help for a sporo cat. This cat is amongst the 5 community cats that Susan feeds. We connected Susan with two of our readers who have had experience in successfully home-nursing and caring for sporo cats.
We have been keeping in touch with Susan to seek updates on this sporo-cat and was told that he is a master escape artist, hence, his name, Houdini.
Today, Susan and Houdini received a surprise:

Dear Dr. Chan,
I am so overwhelmed by the generosity shown to me by (the anonymous reader). She has bought Houdini a spanking new cage, a litter tray, and a scratch post. He is a very lucky boy.
(The reader) has also given me Lamisil cream and I stared applying it on him today. It worked for Fenton Wong’s cat. I hope it will for Houdini too.
Thank you so very much for putting me in touch with (the reader). She has been very helpful with advising me on how to care for a sporo cat, and lifted my spirits when I despaired over Houdini’s escape.
Enclosed are photos of Houdini’s new home.
Thank you very much
susan
We also wish to thank “Aunty Anonymous” for her thoughtfulness and kindness in helping Susan and Houdini. We hope with his new home and in his new comforts, Houdini will be motivated to get well soon. And, not motivated to escape again!
One of the greatest blessings, amongst others, of running AnimalCare, is being able to connect with people who share our message of “Working together for the animals”.
We are truly blessed.
